REQUIRED IMMUNIZATIONS FOR 7TH GRADE STUDENTS The state of Florida mandates that 7th-grade students may not enter school until the Florida Certification of Immunization (Form DH680) has been updated with required immunizations or a medical/religious exemption and turned in to the school office. Students without the required immunization documentation will be excluded from class until we receive the updated FLA 680 form that shows their Tdap shot, the date of shot, and code 8. If your child has received the required (Tdap) tetanus booster for 7th grade, we must have a copy on file at the school. Please come by the office or have your child bring in to drop off the updated Florida Certification of Immunization (Form DH680) If your child has not received the tetanus booster, please contact your child's physician to schedule an appointment as soon as possible. Please ensure the doctor's office or clinic signs and stamps the name and address on the Florida Certification of Immunization (Form DH680). If you have questions, please call Ruckel M.S. at 833-4142 or the Okaloosa County Health Department at 833-9240.

RMS Families,
As you have already received an update from the district, we are following up with Ruckel Middle School specific times and schedule updates for tomorrow due to the weather delay. In order to keep our students and families as safe as possible we will begin school at 10:45 AM tomorrow and report to 4th period upon arrival.
If your child rides a bus to school, he/she should be at their bus stop exactly three hours later than normal. All other students should arrive at school by 10:45 AM. This change to tomorrow’s schedule is to ensure our students and employees arrive at school safely.
We will be serving lunch tomorrow during 4th period. Students will travel to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd periods to complete the schedule for the day. There will not be any state testing tomorrow.
Dismissal will be at our normal time of 2:20 PM. At this time afterschool activities for tomorrow are schedule to resume as normal.
Please keep an eye out for potential updates this evening and into the morning from the district and the school. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work together to make sure all students and staff remain safe. Have a wonderful evening.

Thank you St Judes for the amazing treats for our teachers!
