February is Black History Month and we are hosting our annual Door Decorating and Art Contests and encouraging students to enter the statewide Essay Contest hosted by Governor and First Lady DeSantis!

Decorate your classroom door to represent this year's theme: Honoring African American Contributions to Florida's Success.
Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to Elementary, Middle, High, Community School, and School/District Administrator winners!
Door Decorating Submission Guidelines
A photo of your door should be e-mailed to OCSDDoorContest@gmail.com. Deadline: February 25, 2025.
Art Contest
Create a piece of art that represents this year's theme: Honoring African American Contributions to Florida's Success.
Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to grades K-3, grades 4-5, grades 6-8, grades 9-12, and Community School winners (one winner from each category)!
