Celebrate Literacy Week 2024 is celebrated throughout the state of Florida during the week of January 22 through January 26   This week is designed to raise awareness about the importance of reading and to inspire families to make reading part of their literacy routines.  Okaloosa schools have fun activities scheduled during the week to increase students’ interest, including dress up days and hosting literacy nights for families, and inviting guest readers.  Keep an eye on your school’s social media and website for planned activities.
