Mr. Jim Bagby from Congressman Gaetz Office presented a Congressional Record to the Okaloosa STEMM Academy for their national recognition of being a Blue Ribbon School and their outstanding State ranking at the December 11, 2023, School Board Meeting.
The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program, administered by the United States Department of Education, is a prestigious recognition that celebrates schools for their exceptional commitment to academic excellence. The Okaloosa STEMM Academy is one of only 13 schools in Florida and one of 353 schools in the nation. This achievement is a testament to the unwavering dedication of our students, educators, families, and the broader community in creating an environment where students are intellectually curious, critical thinkers, and creative problem solvers. Students are thriving at STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Medical).
Superintendent Chambers stated, “This recognition not only highlights the hard work and dedication of our students but also acknowledges the outstanding efforts put forth by our incredible teachers and staff. It is a reflection of the strong partnerships we have formed with parents and the support we receive from our community stakeholders.
