NOTICE
The Okaloosa County School Board will have a Special Board Meeting for the purpose of conducting a closed attorney-client session to discuss a litigation matter pending in the United States District Court, Northern District of California, Case No. 3:22-cv-08881.The special meeting will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. The Meeting will be conducted in the Training Room at the School Board’s Central Administrative Complex, 202 Highway 85 N, Niceville, Florida. The Meeting will be attended by School Board Members Tim Bryant, Linda Evanchyk, Marti Gardner, Diane Kelley, and Lamar White, together with Superintendent of Schools, Marcus Chambers, and Attorney C. Jeffrey McInnis. Attorney Jonathan Kieffer and/or Attorney Joel Wright will participate in the attorney-client portion of the meeting by telephone conference call. The procedures for the attorney-client session will be those consistent with Florida Statutes, Chapter 286. The attorney-client portions of the Meeting will be closed to the press and public pursuant to Florida law. All other portions of the meeting will be open to the press and public.
