The Okaloosa County School District is currently examining materials to consider for adoption in elementary, middle, and high school social studies classes. The elementary and secondary committees have reviewed publisher presentations and have ranked publishers based on the lists below. Links and login information are available for individuals wishing to review all publisher materials. For more information, contact Ryan Gore at 850-226-4714, or by e-mail at gorer@okaloosaschools.com.

The results below are the final rankings of publishers based upon the committee ranking and school voting process.  Once the Florida Department of Education (DOE) has released their approved publisher list, a recommendation for adoption will be made to the School Board.  The highest-ranking publisher on the DOE-approved list will be recommended for adoption.  The district may take into consideration the official DOE appeal process and timeline when making a final recommendation.
