The Okaloosa County School District will celebrate the opening of Pineview School with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 10 a.m. The event will take place at 5200 Enzor Road in Crestview and will mark the completion of a major investment in one of Okaloosa County's fastest-growing communities. Located along the Southwest Crestview Bypass, Pineview School was designed to meet the educational needs of a growing area while providing students and families with a modern, state-of-the-art learning environment. The new K-8 campus will expand capacity in the Crestview community and serve students in kindergarten through eighth grade.
“The opening of Pineview School is a historic milestone for the Okaloosa County School District and the communities we serve,” said Superintendent Marcus Chambers. “This campus represents years of thoughtful planning, responsible investment, and collaboration to ensure we are prepared for the continued growth of our county. As the District’s first new school since 2008, Pineview demonstrates our commitment to being proactive in addressing future capacity needs while providing students and families with a modern, innovative learning environment where they can thrive. We are grateful to our community for their partnership and support as we continue building a strong foundation for generations of students to come.”
Dr. Donna Kelley, principal of Pineview School, stated, “We have the rare and thrilling privilege of being the very first to walk in these halls. Pineview School is a blank canvas, and together — students, staff, and families — we will fill it with discovery, school spirit, and a legacy of greatness that will last for generations. Community members, elected officials, families, and media partners are invited to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebrate this historic occasion.
