Dr. Donna Kelley - Pineview School Principal

We are proud to announce Dr. Donna Kelley as the inaugural Principal of Pineview School, Okaloosa County’s new K–8 school opening in August 2026 in Crestview! Dr. Kelley is an accomplished educational leader with over 30 years of experience in K–12 education, currently serving as principal of Northwood Elementary School since 2013 after holding leadership and teaching positions in Alabama. She holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University, and has earned honors such as the 2025 Florida National Distinguished Principal for the National Association of Elementary School Principals and Okaloosa County Elementary Principal of the Year in 2023 and 2025. Dr. Kelley brings a wealth of experience, vision, and heart to Pineview School, and we are thrilled to welcome her into this new role as we prepare to open a campus that will serve students from kindergarten through 8th grade.

We are pleased to announce Lindsay Maxey as the new Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources. Mrs. Maxey is a seasoned Human Resources professional with over a decade of experience in the public education sector. She earned her bachelor’s degree in human resources from Auburn University and holds both the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credentials. As a proud graduate of Okaloosa County Schools, Mrs. Maxey is deeply committed to supporting the district’s mission of excellence and continued success with a student focused approach. She is passionate about fostering a positive, supportive, and effective workplace culture that empowers educators and staff to thrive and perform at their best.
