Update August 4, 2024 5:00pm
We are fortunate to report that Okaloosa County will not be affected by the weather brought on by Tropical Storm Debby. Our thoughts are with those to the east of us, and we hope they stay safe. As a reminder, school starts on Monday, August 12, and we are excited to welcome everyone back to our campuses! Please be mindful of increased traffic and expect delays in school zones and during the drop-off and pick-up process during the first week or two of school.

School District Officials are in communication with Okaloosa Public Safety Director Patrick Maddox as we monitor Potential Tropical Cyclone 4 (PTC4), which is currently near Cuba. At this time, we are anticipating a rain event. However, please be aware that the storm is still developing and could potentially change course or increase in severity.
While we do not expect the storm to affect the start of school, we will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as needed.
