Wildcat Parents of current 6th and 7th graders,
Yesterday we went over the course selection/registration process with your student. They have their course selection sheets and are going over them with their teachers. For access to the 25-26 Curriculum Guide, please go to the Meigs' Guidance page here https://www.okaloosaschools.com/o/meigs/page/guidance and click on the "Meigs 2025-2026 Academic Catalog" link to see all courses offered next year!

A line of storms is expected to move into our area overnight and continue through tomorrow evening. We anticipate heavy rainfall, which may lead to brief flash flood conditions and pooling on roadways.
At this time, we do not expect any changes to school start times or dismissal. However, we encourage everyone to exercise caution during your commute. If your child is late or misses school due to weather in your area, please provide a note when they return.
We will keep you updated if any changes arise. Thank you, and have a great evening!

Meigs Families: We are so excited to have our Veterans on campus for lunch tomorrow! Meigs Parents & Familes,
As many of you may know, we are in the middle of the registration process for your student to get registered for classes next year. For our 8th graders, this means registering for high school and with that, we have partnered with Choctaw High School to provide additional opportunities to gain information and a better understanding of what Choctaw has to offer. One of those opportunities is tomorrow night, March 1st; Choctaw High School is hosting an IB Open House tomorrow at 5:30 in their Media Center to explain the IB Programme and answer questions about the prestigious IB Programme. This is a great opportunity for incoming 9th grade Choctaw students that might have questions about the program.

Okaloosa County Schools start for students on Wednesday, August 10th, 2022.
