Good Evening, Wildcat Families. Please do not forget that we begin FAST testing tomorrow with 6th grade math. All students will report to Pride at 7:15 a.m. 7th and 8th graders will be in Pride until 9:55 a.m. Instruction will not begin until after 9:55 a.m. when testing is complete. Good luck, 6th graders!
Gear up for Spirit Wear for the School Year and our new Spirit Wear Initiative! As you've heard from the Wildcat Weekly emails, website posts, social media, and letters mailed home, (and like most Middle Schools in Okaloosa County), our students will wear Meigs Spirit Gear Monday-Thursday. We invite you to our Readiness Days on July 17th or July 31st from 8:30am-1:30pm & 5pm-7pm where we will have all new spirit gear for sale in the Media Center. We hope to see you there!
Early release times for the last day of school, May 25th, 2023. See attached flyer.
Meigs Parents & Familes,
As many of you may know, we are in the middle of the registration process for your student to get registered for classes next year. For our 8th graders, this means registering for high school and with that, we have partnered with Choctaw High School to provide additional opportunities to gain information and a better understanding of what Choctaw has to offer. One of those opportunities is tomorrow night, March 1st; Choctaw High School is hosting an IB Open House tomorrow at 5:30 in their Media Center to explain the IB Programme and answer questions about the prestigious IB Programme. This is a great opportunity for incoming 9th grade Choctaw students that might have questions about the program.
Okaloosa County Schools start for students on Wednesday, August 10th, 2022.
