NASP Academic Archer Guidelines

• All students that participate in an in-school NASP® archery class or participate on the school archery team at a recognized NASP® school and meet local academic recognition criteria, are eligible to be entered for Academic Archer status. 

• The NASP® advisory offered the following guidelines if no local school criteria exist for Academic Archer recognition:

      o The Student should be a participant in their school’s “in-school” NASP® archery class, or a participant on the school's NASP® archery team during the current school year. 

      o The Student should have no D’s or F’s (or equivalent), to qualify as a NASP® Academic Archer. 

      o The designated Academic Archer should maintain a grade point average that establishes them well within existing school GPA criteria for high academic standards. 

      o When no school academic recognition criteria exist, the local NASP® teacher/coach should consult and collaborate with the school principal to establish such criteria, before designating students with Academic Archer status.   

****There may be additional tournaments added at a later date.  As soon as we know, we will notify everyone.  Also, we will not know exact day and times until registration is completed (which normally happens within 2 weeks of the tournament). ****

2024 Tryouts Dates

October 2nd-4th, during PE class time.

For students who do not have a PE class they will have tryouts after school on October 2nd and 3rd.

All sports require a completed middle school athletics packet and addendum PRIOR TO PARTICIPATION.
