It’s super fun and festive🎄 And the best part is we raised $1,100 for our new outdoor classroom space 👏🏽 This week, we have a Hungry Howie’s spirt night on Tuesday and Jingle Jam family fitness night on Thursday! Thursday, December 5th, is our Jingle Jam Holiday Fitness Night. Don't miss your chance to sign up—pre-registration is required, but the event is free. Mark your calendars for the General PTO Meeting on December 10th at 5:30. We are ALWAYS looking for parent volunteers and this is the perfect way to learn more about volunteer opportunities on campus. Greetings Seminole families! A few important announcements for the upcoming week... There will be no school next week in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday break. On Monday, November 25th, we have a spirit night at Chik Fil A Niceville--be sure to mention BES! We hope you have a safe, happy holiday break and we will see our Seminoles in December.  Have a fabulous weekend and GO Seminoles!

A line of storms is expected to move into our area overnight and continue through tomorrow evening. We anticipate heavy rainfall, which may lead to brief flash flood conditions and pooling on roadways. At this time, we do not expect any changes to school start times or dismissal. However, we encourage everyone to exercise caution during your commute. If your child is late or misses school due to weather in your area, please provide a note when they return. We hope to see you there! We have started collecting votes for the “Turkey your Teacher” fundraiser to support our Space Raiders program! Students can bring $1 per vote to Mrs. Berry’s window before school each morning. Wednesday is the last day to vote. Jingle Jam registration is now open! BES Families, The PTO's next free family fun event is Thursday, December 5- Jingle Jam fitness night! It's a fun night of exercise and holiday attire! Greetings Seminole families! A few important announcements for the upcoming week… There will be no school on Monday, November 11th in honor of Veterans Day. Thank you to the courageous men and women who serve our country. We want to extend our gratitude by dressing in red, white, and blue on Tuesday to show support for our Military and Veterans. Wednesday November 13th is World Kindness Day—we hope you find some time in your day for a random act of kindness! That evening you can hit up Pepito’s for a School Spirit Night! Friday is the 3rd Friday of the month which means parent/student lunches. Saturday, November 16th, our PE department is sponsoring a Family Fun Day from 8 – 10 AM. We hope to see you there! BES Announcement: Spirit Night tonight at Brozinni's Pizza in Niceville from 3pm to 9pm. Dine in, take out, and delivery orders count!

BES Families- Our biggest fundraiser of the year isn't over! Students have danced, laughed and had a blast for 10 days! And we've raised $27,000.00 for our amazing school! A huge THANK YOU to the families who have helped us reach this phenomenal number! We have until Thursday evening to make this happen- our community has raised $8,000.00 in one day before- we have 2.5 days to make this happen! Let's go BES Seminoles! Every year, we count dollars that come in for one week post the Dance-a-thon and before calculating final results. We still have time to reach our big goal of $35,000.00! We also need 3 more states to complete the 50 state challenge: South Dakota, Rhode Island and Washington DC! Who knows someone in those wonderful states? Currently, our highest contributing grades are second grade, kindergarten and third grade. Our highest classes are Mrs. Palmer, Ms. Detweiler and Mrs. Strickland! It is a VERY close race for top three and could change with just one donation. The PTO can accept donations on mybooster.com or by cash/check anytime of the year. The parking lot will close at 7:50 so the run can begin at 8am. Dress up, bring your family, and have fun exercising! We are continuing to honor Red Ribbon Week and can’t wait to see our Seminoles wearing shades on Monday, their red ribbon bracelet on Tuesday, and on Thursday students are encouraged to wear a Halloween costume. As you know Boosterthon is here, and we are gearing up for the Dance-a-thon. Wednesday’s attire will be perfect while the kids Dance their PE away! Our kick-off isn't until the end of the month, but you can start making pledges now! Help us reach our $35,000 goal to raise funds for campus improvements. On Tuesday, October 23, the monthly General PTO meeting will be in the media center at 5:30. PTO is a great way to get involved with the school community, so we hope to see you there! Red Ribbon Week is observed annually from October 23rd to 31st. Join us in making a difference by encouraging everyone to play their part in keeping our community safe and healthy. We will be honoring this year's theme, "Life is a Movie", by dressing up with different daily themes. Wednesday—wear red, Thursday--wear Hawaiin or tropical-inspired attire, and on Friday you can dress like the STAR you are! Speaking of dress up: we hope you and your family will join us on Saturday, October 26th, for a PE sponsored Fun Run/Walk from 8am to 9am. Costumes are welcome. On Wednesday, October 16th, we will be wearing orange to promote Unity Day and the importance of joining together to create a community built on kindness, acceptance of differences, and inclusion. On Thursday, October 17th, make your way to Pepper's in Niceville for a Spirit Night and Friday you can have lunch with your Seminole! It's been a great first quarter of the 2024-2025 school year.
