In an effort to help our car rider ramp move faster and for the safety of our students, we will begin using new car rider tags. The person in possession of the car rider tag will be the person to whom the student is released.

For each family, the first 2 car rider tags are free.  Each additional tag is $1.00.

Student’s name should be on display in the car window.  We will not release students to a vehicle without this name card; you will be asked to park and pick your child up as a walker.

ATTENTION PARENTS:

CAR RIDERS- In the event of lightning/inclement weather, students will remain in the hallway until they are called. Please have your car tag displayed in car window. Please be patient as rainy weather slows down car rider traffic flow.

P.M. DISMISSAL

School District Policy does not allow for a change in a student’s regular dismissal plan to be accepted by office staff over the telephone.  Parents can contact that school office staff before 2:30 p.m. by email at bestransport@okaloosaschools.com. It is the parent’s responsibility to call the school to verify that we have received the change in dismissal plans. *
