September is National Self-Care Month

September is National Self-Care Awareness Month. Self-care is the behaviors that you implement to improve your physical and mental well-being. This month the Patriotic Pups will be focusing on how to improve self-care and build resiliency. Here are some things you can do to improve self-care. 

  • Spend time outside. 
  • Name your emotions. 
  • Eat healthy foods. 
  • Stretch and do yoga. 
  • Read a story. 
  • Listen to calm music. 
  • Take a nap.
