On January 17, 2023, Davin was invited to the 2023 Service Academy Nomination Ceremony where U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz revealed who would receive Congressional Nominations from him this year. Out of over 100 applicants, Davin was the only student from Crestview High School, along with 37 other nominees to be nominated for the U.S. Military Academy (West Point), the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, and the U.S. Air Force Academy. Davin has been accepted for admission to the United States Air Force Academy Preparatory School.
