Volunteer Information
Volunteers must complete the Online Okaloosa Schools Volunteer Application prior to volunteering at the school. When arriving on campus volunteers must sign in at our School Check In System.
ACT and SAT Test Dates
The ACT and SAT are often used by colleges and universities in order to help determine acceptance. Crestview High School encourages students to take one or both of these tests.

Student Mobile Use
Many classes at CHS allow students to bring their own devices in order to enhance their classroom learning experience. Students must have a parent-signed Mobile Usage Agreement on file to participate.
Military and Family Life Counselors
Okaloosa Schools now include Military and Family Life Counselors at each school. MFLC counselors provide brief, non-medical counseling to both students and his/her family.
School Advisory Council (SAC)
The School Advisory Council (SAC) is comprised of parents, teachers, and community members who help are responsible for approving the school budget, School Performance Plan, the by-laws of all clubs and organizations, the try-out policies of all sports, and other items as needed. All volunteers are welcome!
Student Internet Use
Students and parents should thoroughly read the Okaloosa County Computer and Internet Rules of Acceptable Use and must agree to the Acceptable Use and Electronic Resources Contracts prior to the students participation on a computer, device or the Internet.

Athletic Participation
Students who wish to participate in Athletics should complete all Athletic Paperwork prior to athletic participation or try outs.
Grades Online
Okaloosa Schools offer students and parents access to Grades online through Parent Portal.
iOCSD App
The Okaloosa School District recently released an app that includes breaking news and access to student grades. The app is available for Android or Apple products. Search iOCSD in the App Store or click the link to download the Apple App or Android App.
School Payment Service
The Okaloosa County School District is pleased to be able to offer an additional method of payment for school meals and activities, such as band, chorus, sports and clubs, as well as field trips and items such as yearbooks, class T-shirts, etc.
Okaloosa Schools are now able to accept payments online through MySchoolBucks.com or Online School Management Systems.

Student Handbook
The 2021-2022 Student Handbook contains important information about Attendance, Tardies, the Dress Code, Discipline, etc. All students are responsible for abiding by the rules as per the student handbook.
Immunization Information
The Florida Department of Health in Okaloosa County (DOH-Okaloosa) is urging parents and guardians to prepare students for returning to school by reviewing immunization records and start getting the required vaccinations now.

Free and Reduced Food Service
Okaloosa Schools offer free and reduced lunch to students who qualify. Applications can be completed online at applyforlunch.com.
