VPK Registration opened January 1st! Okaloosa County VPK schools include: Southside Primary School, Mary Esther Elementary School, Walker Elementary School, Northwood Elementary School, Riverside Elementary School, Edwins Elementary School, Bob Sikes Elementary School, Okaloosa STEMM Academy, and Longwood Elementary School. Before registering at one of the school sites listed above, you must obtain your child's VPK Certificate of Eligibility. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis, and spots at each site are limited.

Bob Sikes ES Canned Food Drive for Sharing and Caring will be held December 2nd through December 20th. Every student that brings in at least 5 canned food items will get to participate in hat day on Friday, December 20th. The class that collects the largest number of cans will win a class reward.
A line of storms is expected to move into our area overnight and continue through tomorrow evening. We anticipate heavy rainfall, which may lead to brief flash flood conditions and pooling on roadways.
At this time, we do not expect any changes to school start times or dismissal. However, we encourage everyone to exercise caution during your commute. If your child is late or misses school due to weather in your area, please provide a note when they return.

Today was an amazing success at our Bob Sikes Beautification Day! From replanting our front entrance flower bed, to pressure washing, raking up leaves, and litter clean up, we accomplished so much. Huge thanks to all the volunteers – parents, students, families, community members, and staff – your dedication made it happen! 🌷💪

Join us as we celebrate moving into Springtime! Bob Sikes Elementary PTO will receive 10% of all proceeds. Proceeds will be used to purchase classroom supplies and fund additional educational enhancements. **Students an complete the coloring sheet on the back and bring it to Subway that night. One winner from each grade level will be chosen and will receive a certificate for a free kid's meal.
