📅 BSE Week at a Glance

BSE Week at a Glance | February 9 - 13

We have an exciting and busy week ahead at Bob Sikes Elementary! Please review the important events and reminders below:

Celebrate Hope Week at Bob Sikes Elementary! 💛

This week, our Bullpups are celebrating Hope Week - a special time dedicated to promoting kindness, empathy, resiliency, and acceptance throughout our school community. Each day, students focus on a “Word of the Day” that encourages positive character traits and reminds us how our words and actions can make a difference.

Through activities led by our amazing Care Crew, students are spreading bubbles of kindness, sharing inspirational messages, wearing yellow for the National Day of Hope, and lifting one another up with affirmations.

At Bob Sikes, we believe hope grows when we choose compassion, support one another, and create a school where everyone feels valued and included. 💛

Together, we are building strong hearts, strong minds, and a strong Bullpup community. 🐾✨

💌 Valentine’s Day Reminder for Families 💌

As many classes will be celebrating Valentine’s Day this Friday, we kindly remind families not to schedule deliveries to students at school, including flowers, balloons, or gifts.

These items can be disruptive to the learning environment and are difficult for the front office to manage during the school day. Additionally, balloons are not permitted on school buses due to safety concerns and will not be allowed to be transported home with students.

Thank you for helping us keep our celebrations fun, safe, and focused for all of our Bullpups! 🐾💚
