February 2–6 | School Counseling Week

This week, we are proud to celebrate School Counseling Week and extend a heartfelt thank you to our amazing School Counselor, Dr. Blake-Griffin, our Mental Health Counselor, Ms. Hanley, and MFLC Counselor, Ms. Urena!

We are incredibly grateful for their dedication, leadership, and heart for students. Thank you for all you do to support our Bullpups and our school community!

Parent Training Opportunity! February 5th at 5:00pm-6:00pm Niceville Central Administration Complex This training will focus on Youth Mental Health and Awareness and is designed to help parents better understand children’s behavior across childhood and adolescence. Parents will learn which behaviors are a typical part of development, which signs may warrant additional attention, and when it may be appropriate to seek support.

Following the training, parents of students with IEPs will have an opportunity to share input, ask questions, and engage in meaningful partnership with the district.

WE WANT YOU TO JOIN THE BAND! - PANTHER BAND! (Incoming 6th Graders)

Whether you’re planning on attending Davidson, Pineview, or are still unsure, we invite you to come play test all the instruments we offer to kickstart your band journey in middle school.

ALL students are welcome (even if you don’t end up attending Davidson!) and no prior experience is necessary.

Why Join?

Instrument Fitting Days hosted at Davidson:

Join us to get more information and play test all of the instruments we offer in Band! You can come on any of the following days within the specified time frame. The entire process should only take about 30 minutes.

2/7/26 from 10am-1pm in the DMS Media Center

2/24/26 from 4pm-7pm in the DMS Media Center

3/28/26 from 10am-1pm in the DMS Media Center

Bob Sikes Elementary is excited to announce 2025–2026 Yearbook Pre-Sales are coming soon!

Pre-Sales Dates: February 2 – February 27, 2026

Cost: $25 per book

Important: Quantities will be limited once yearbooks arrive, so be sure to secure your copy early!
