1. WET HANDS
2. APPLY SOAP
3. RUB SOAPY HANDS FOR 20 SECONDS (SING ABC’S TWICE)
4. SCRUB FINGERTIPS AND BETWEEN FINGERS
5. SCRUB FOREARM TO JUST BELOW ELBOW
6. RINSE FOREARM & HANDS
7. USE TOWEL TO DRY HANDS & FOREARMS
8. TURN OFF WATER WITH PAPER TOWEL AND THROW AWAY
Encourage your student to use their “cough pocket”, coughing into their arm on the inner side of the elbow. This will help prevent spreading of germs through hand contact.
Several students, of all grade levels, are still soiling their pants. It would help students stay in the classroom for learning if you could provide a change of clothing in their back pack.
All medication must come in original container and have proper paperwork filled out by the parent, this includes cough drops. Students are NOT allowed to transport ANY medication to or from school.
