Congratulations to our River Lee Miller for winning the Martin Luther King, Jr. Oratorical Contest today! The theme was Remembering to “Tell Our Stories Honoring the Past.” River Lee inspired the audience saying that “Martin Luther King, Jr.’s words still ring loud and true.” We are really proud of both River Lee Miller and Sarah Smith for writing and experiencing the joys of public speaking and lifting others up through language and love! Way to go Marlins! Also, thank you Mrs. Palmer for inspiring such great speakers! Congratulations!
