Welcome to Bluewater Elementary School. We are committed to providing critical transitional support for military-connected students as they relocate to our school due to a parent's change in duty station. Our focus is to eliminate barriers to the academic success of military-connected students. We are here to assist and support the military family lifestyle in such areas as school transitions, frequent moves, deployment, and education inconsistencies that exist from state to state, along with many others.

Bluewater Elementary school has a student-led transition program to assist military students coming into the school. Our very own BLUE Crew will provide a campus tour and serve as peer-support linking new military students with others at the school. As students are on their campus tour the BLUE Crew will give them information on different clubs and activities as well as upcoming events around the school.

Our faculty and staff members are dedicated to meeting the needs of all our students and their families. To increase awareness, our school has coordinated a Professional Development Program. Participants of this program will be provided how to identify and respond to the needs of military students and their families. These trainings will be provided at faculty meetings, during department meetings, and/or in small groups.
