Hope Week

Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. There are many clubs and organizations within the school setting that offers support to our students in time of crisis. HOPE Squad is one. HOPE Squad is a peer-to-peer suicide prevention program.

HOPE Squad members are nominated by their classmates as trustworthy peers and are trained by advisors in an effort to reduce youth suicide through education, training, and peer intervention.

HOPE Squad’s Day of unity is Thursday, February 16, 2023. Please join us in support by wearing yellow to be a light or shine a light on youth suicide prevention and awareness, with kindness and forgiveness.
