Fund A Scholarship
The Okaloosa Public Schools Foundation's vision is that every student graduating from high school is ready for the next step towards a promising future with post-secondary education goals or workforce-ready skills. Individuals and corporations in the community can help us achieve this vision by donating to our scholarship program.
There are several ways you can support OPSF Scholarships:
1) Donate to the OPSF Scholarship Program
2) Create a Take Stock in Children Scholarship
TSIC scholarships are designed to help deserving low-income students realize the dream of a college education. The cost of a 2-year scholarship is approximately $4,000 and a 4-year scholarship is approximately $8,500. You can create a Named Take Stock in Children Scholarship fund to honor your family or business.
Friends of the Foundation
Join the OPSF, as a Friend of the Foundation for as little as $5 a year. OPSF, a not-for-profit community-based public schools foundation, is a partnership between families, schools, communities, and businesses.
The Foundation is dedicated to supporting and extending the educational opportunities of all individuals within Okaloosa County. Since its establishment in 1995, OPSF has funded educational enrichment programs including teacher grants for unique programs, student scholars in the Take Stock in Children Program, community educational initiatives, and student and teacher recognition awards.
What are the benefits of Foundation membership? Tax-deductible donations to the Okaloosa Public Schools Foundation provide individuals, businesses, and community-based organizations with the opportunity to support unique and innovative educational programs and projects.

Make A Donation to a Specific School
The Okaloosa County School District receives a great deal of support from businesses and families throughout the year. These donations allow Okaloosa Schools to offer more and better programs - they pay for sports equipment, stadium and field improvement, playground equipment, field trips, laboratory supplies, and much, much more.
If you are interested in helping a school through a direct donation, please contact your school's principal directly. Donations over $500 are approved by the School Board at regular meetings.
The schools are also grateful to receive books for their libraries, art supplies, science lab equipment, and educational toys, such as Legos and K'nex.
Many local businesses participate in "Adopt-a-Classroom" programs, where the businesses help provide supplies to a specific classroom. For more information, contact the principal of the school where you'd like to help.
Thank you for your interest in helping make our district the number one district in the State of Florida!
