Dear Parents and Guardians,
Together we have officially made it through the first semester. It takes ALL of us working together with every student, every day for the opportunity to reach their maximum potential. Together we continue to Set Goals for Success!
This semester you will see a huge emphasis on students taking ownership of their learning. Every day our teachers begin their lessons with success criteria and then continues to integrate the criteria throughout their lesson. Success Criteria are the measures & expectations used to inform students what it takes to be successful for the specific lesson(s) and/or benchmark being covered.
Every student needs to take ownership of their learning and providing clarification helps this process come to life. We also understand that every student may be at different levels, but our ultimate goal to have each student by the end of the year be at grade level or better so we continue to work daily to close the gaps and provide the consistency your child deserves.
