Welcome parents, students, alumni, and volunteers to another exciting year at Elliott Point Elementary School in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Elliott Point Elementary School has been educating students since 1966! Our goal is for excellence to continue to be our focus in everything that we do.
Elliott Point Elementary School is the home of the Eagles and we are soaring for success to even greater heights this school year! Elliott Point Elementary School is truly a neighborhood school and many of our teachers, support personnel, and administration attended Elliott Point Elementary School a number of years ago as children.
We welcome you as partners in your child’s education. There are many avenues for you to become a partner in education with us. You will be given opportunities to become a volunteer, mentor, a Parent Enhancement Team (PET) member, and a School Advisory Council (SAC) member. At Elliott Point, we appreciate your input and your support.
Elliott Point Elementary School is a school of 600+ students enrolled in Kindergarten through fifth grade. The Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Programs that are housed at our school are Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), Varying Exceptionalities (VE) grades K-2, Varying Exceptionalities (VE) grades 3-5, Emotional Behavioral Disorder (EBD) grades 5, Other Health Impaired (OHI), Hearing Impaired (HI), Orthopedically Impaired (OI), Physical Therapist (PT) and Gifted Services. Our school serves the specific educational needs of children in a Title 1 elementary school with a free and reduced lunch population of 78%.
The faculty, support personnel, and parents/guardians have high academic standards and are committed to providing a safe, inviting, and challenging environment for all students. Remediation programs are provided during the school day for reading and mathematics children. Before and After
school remediation programs provide free tutoring for qualified children in grades K through five.
