Scott Nuss Recognized as Part of National Principal Appreciation Month

Scott Nuss was recently recognized by OCSD as part of October's National Principal Appreciation Month.

“Mr. Nuss is a good principal because he understands when I do something that I shouldn’t. He tries his best to help me with stuff. I think he’s an awesome principal because he tries his very best to help with kids.” – Bentley W., 5th Grade Student

“As a principal, Mr. Nuss demonstrates an unwavering commitment to our learning community. He will discuss your data and educational practices with you, ask about your students, and check in with them, as well as stay beyond work hours to divert a flood or help move furniture. Nuss’ dedication to our school shows in the way he leads us to step outside of what we feel comfortable with as educators and the “gentle” pushes he provides to steer us toward implementing practices to increase our students’ success. No matter what comes his way as a principal, Mr. Nuss never loses his ability to start each day with a smile and begin the adventure all over again.” – Ms. Sterman, 3rd Grade Teacher

Thank you for your Leadership at Elliott Point Elementary School, Mr. Nuss!
