The English Language Learners (ELL) Community Connections Committee presents a Multilingual Family and Community Night on January 31st from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Edwins Elementary in Fort Walton Beach. Join us for food, fun, and information on school and community resources (childcare and translators provided).
Topics will include how to support your children with academics at home, navigating Classlink for resources and student information, and Title services. There will be a special presentation for middle and high school student support. The Connections Committee has invited local organizations to explain how they can support families.
The "ELL CommUNITY CONNECTIons Committee" is a group of individuals dedicated to improving the experiences of ELLs in our community. They work to provide resources and support for ELLs and their families, as well as to promote cultural awareness and understanding. By fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment, the committee aims to ensure that ELLs have access to the same opportunities and resources as their peers. Whether through language classes, mentorship programs, or community events, the "ELL CommUNITY CONNECTIons Committee" is committed to making our community a better place for all.
