Black History Month

February is Black History Month and we are hosting our annual Door Decorating and Art Contests and encouraging students to enter the statewide Essay Contest hosted by Governor and First Lady DeSantis!

This year's theme is Celebrating Florida's African American Heroes and Their Contributions to Freedom.

Door Decorating Contest

Decorate your classroom door to represent this year's theme: Celebrating Florida's African American Heroes and Their Contributions to Freedom.

Prizes Prizes will be awarded to Elementary, Middle, High, Community School, and School/District Administrator winners!

Art Contest

Create a piece of art that represents this year's theme: Celebrating Florida's African American Heroes and Their Contributions to Freedom.

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded to grades K-3, grades 4-5, grades 6-8, grades 9-12, and Community School winners (one winner from each category)!
