Antioch Elementary 5th Grade Completion Ceremony

Dear 5th Grade Parents,

We are so excited to celebrate your child’s elementary school completion! Due to our ever growing school population and for the safety of our students and staff, there will be two separate ceremonies. This is the best way to accommodate all the friends and family you might like to come help you celebrate while also maintaining safe numbers in our building. Both ceremonies will begin at 9:15 in our multi purpose room.  May 24th we will celebrate Mrs. W Carpenter,  Mrs. Dewise, Mrs. Gebhart, Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Roberts, and Ms. Vinzant's classes.  May 25th we will celebrate Ms. M. Carpenter, Mrs. Hann, Mrs. Stultz, and Mrs. Wittenberg's classes.

To ensure safety for all our students, your student will be provided with 4 tickets to the ceremony. If you need additional tickets, you will need to reach out to your child’s teacher.  Only friends and family who have received a ticket from you will be allowed to enter. THOSE WITHOUT A  TICKET WILL NOT BE PERMITTED  TO ENTER THE SCHOOL BUILDING. Again, this is to ensure safety for all of our staff and students. ANY ALTERED TICKETS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Parents will check in at the gate closest to the car line with their ticket. You will make your way down the car ramp to the double doors of the multipurpose room. Once the ceremony is over, guests are encouraged to make their way out the double doors to the multipurpose room and to the front of the school under the covered area. Parents will  wait for the 5th grade to have their “Clap Out” by the entire school. Your teacher will have a check out list that you will be required to sign if you choose to take your child home with you. PLEASE DO NOT SEND BACKPACKS WITH YOUR CHILD. Students will not be able to go back to their classrooms as teachers will be in the front of the building signing their students out and talking with parents.

We hope you will join us for your child's special day!
