Kindergarten & New to Okaloosa County Registration
All registration is completed online at the link below.
After completing the online registration, please bring the following to the school to complete the enrollment process.
Birth Certificate
Physical - A medical examination (school or sports physical) dated no later than twelve months prior to the first day of school.
State of Florida shot record on the Form 680
Parent/Guardian ID
Two items showing Proof of Residency (showing your address)
One of these items must be: the deed/mortgage/HUD statement or rental/lease agreement covering the current year
VPK Registration
As of January 2025, Walker's VPK is full for the 24-25 and 25-26 school year. We would be happy to place you on the waiting list. Please contact Ms. Medford at lisa.medford@okaloosaschools.com with any questions.
The Okaloosa County School District will be providing VPK at Walker Elementary for the upcoming school year. Each student must have a valid VPK voucher from the Early Learning Coalition. Walker will house 1 VPK unit which will hold 11 spots for students. Students are eligible for the VPK program if they are 4 years old on or before September 1. Parents MUST provide transportation for students. Voucher and registration information are below. Please bring both the voucher and registration packet to Walker to enroll your child.
